MSECA Distracts/Members at Large Map

Mississippi Early Childhood Association (MSECA) has brought together individuals working with young children and families for over 48 years. The association was founded in 1953 with 16 charter members and was called Mississippi Association of Children Under Six (MACUS).

Over 1100 people have attended the six state-wide regional training conferences MSECA has held this year.

The association changed its name from MACUS to MSECA in 1993. Currently over 1000 professionals working in every aspect of early childhood education belong to MSECA. MSECA is an affiliate of the Southern Early Childhood Association, an organization of over 21,000 members from 14 states.
